A mid-century modern table clock handcrafted in walnut, mahogany, and maple inlay. Inspired by classic car interiors and modernist design, built by hand in Los Angeles.
The Dashboard Clock draws inspiration from the curves and craftsmanship of mid-century car interiors — a blend of elegance, motion, and design precision. I build each one by hand in my Los Angeles studio using solid walnut, mahogany, and maple inlays. The pedestal base is shaped in a classic cross form that balances the piece visually while giving it a sculptural, architectural feel.
Each clock measures 5 inches wide, 6.5 inches tall, and 2.25 inches deep — a perfect size for a desk, bookshelf, or credenza. It’s finished in lacquer to bring out the natural depth and color of the wood.
Many of the woods I use come from my background in guitar building — repurposed materials with history and character, reimagined as modern design objects. Each clock is signed, lacquered, and assembled with a precision quartz movement.
Custom engraving is available for those who want to personalize their clock — a thoughtful detail that transforms it into a timeless gift for friends, family, or collectors of fine design.
