DESCRIPTION The Pyramid Clock is my modern interpretation of a 1950s Mauthe design — a mid-century classic reimagined through fine woodworking and precision joinery. Each clock is handcrafted in my Los Angeles studio from solid walnut and lightly roasted maple, arranged in an alternating geometric pattern that gives the face a sense of rhythm and movement.
The angular body and tapered legs create a sculptural silhouette, making this piece feel both architectural and playful. Measuring 10 inches wide, 5.5 inches tall, and 2.25 inches deep, it sits beautifully on a shelf, mantel, or credenza as a statement of modern design.
Finished in lacquer for a deep, lasting sheen that enhances the contrast of the woods, each clock is signed, fitted with a precision quartz movement, and designed to last for generations.
